Sep 2026: Tenant Engagement CMS - Property teams can manage their own centre location details

Property teams now have more control over their own centre information, including address details and map coordinates. This reduces the need to request internal configuration changes when location details need correcting or updating.

What it is and why it matters

Authorised CMS users can now maintain their centre's address and map coordinates directly within Manage Your Centre.

Previously, these details were held in a system configuration area that property teams could not maintain themselves.

Giving property teams control makes it easier to correct outdated addresses or inaccurate latitude and longitude information without requesting an internal configuration change.

When to use this

Use Centre Location when:

  • a property's postal address changes;
  • existing address information is incomplete;
  • the property's map position is inaccurate; or
  • latitude and longitude information needs correcting.

How it works (high-level)

A Centre Location tab is available under:

Manage > Your Centre > Manage Your Centre

Authorised users can maintain address information including town, city, county/state, postcode/ZIP code and country, together with latitude and longitude.

Latitude and longitude values are validated to prevent invalid coordinates being saved.

Changes are also recorded through the normal CMS audit history.

Best practice tips

  • Check the complete address after making a change rather than updating only one field.
  • Verify latitude and longitude carefully before saving.
  • Use coordinates for the actual property location rather than a nearby postcode centre point where possible.
  • Only update location information when you have an authoritative source for the new details.
  • If a map appears incorrect, check the saved coordinates before assuming the map itself is at fault.
