May 2026: Tenant Engagement - Mail V2 is here with multiple attachments and draft saving

Previously attachments and images were limited, now they are not! And there's a new email drafting feature.

New email features for communicating with tenants

Kinexio Mail V2 now includes two new messaging improvements:

  • Users can add multiple files and images to a single message
  • Messages can now be saved as drafts and resumed later

These updates make it easier to manage longer, more detailed communication within Mail V2.

Why this matters

Together, these features help streamline communication and reduce disruption when managing messages.

Multiple attachments allow users to send complete updates in a single message rather than splitting information across several replies. This keeps conversations clearer and reduces unnecessary back-and-forth.

Draft saving reduces the risk of losing work and gives users more flexibility when writing longer or more detailed messages. Users can pause, gather additional information, and return later without needing to start again.

When to use this

Use multiple attachments when you need to share several supporting documents, images, or files as part of the same message.

Use draft saving when:

  • Writing detailed or sensitive responses
  • Waiting for additional information before sending
  • Pausing work and returning to a message later

How it works (high-level)

When composing or replying to a message in Mail V2, users can now upload multiple attachments before sending. All files are grouped within the same conversation thread for easier tracking and visibility.

As users write messages, Mail V2 also saves draft progress automatically, allowing unfinished messages to be resumed later.

Best practice tips

  • Send related files together in one message to keep communication organised
  • Use clear filenames so recipients can quickly identify attachments
  • Keep attachments relevant to the conversation topic to avoid confusion
  • Review saved drafts before sending to ensure the content is still current
  • Regularly complete or remove old drafts to keep your mailbox tidy
