Mar 2026: Patrols - Feature Enhancements

These updates are designed to give security teams clearer visibility, more reliable data, and smoother day-to-day operations.

Date & Time Filtering

The Patrols Dashboard now includes an easy-to-use date and time filter, allowing managers to instantly narrow down patrol activity to a specific day, week, or custom date range. Users can also apply a time window if they only want to see activity during certain hours.

A clear message shows which filters are active, and a reset button returns the dashboard to the default 28-day view.

What this improves:

  • Faster incident investigations

  • More focused reporting

  • Better analysis of patrol performance trends

Automatic Logbook Entries for Completed Patrols

Whenever a patrol is marked as completed, the system now automatically records it in the Daily Occurrence Log (DOL). The entry includes key information such as the patrol name, start and end times, guard details, missed tags, comments, and total duration.

This ensures a complete and accurate activity trail without requiring manual updates.

What this improves:

  • Stronger audit trail

  • Less admin work for supervisors
  • Clearer visibility of activity across each shift

Enhanced Patrol Stats & Duration Table

The Patrol Stats & Durations table has been updated to present a richer summary of each patrol, making it easier for managers to review performance at a glance.

It now includes:

  • Patrol name and type (Full Patrol or Snap Patrol)

  • Start and end times
  • Guard information
  • Missed tag counts
  • Duration
  • Quick links to the audit log and PDF report

What this improves:

  • Faster review of patrol outcomes

  • Better understanding of guard activity
  • Easier access to detailed patrol information

Filtering & Exporting Patrol Records

Users can now filter patrol records using the new date/time tools and export the filtered results to CSV. The export reflects only the patrols shown on screen, ensuring reports are clean, relevant, and ready for audits or client updates.

What this improves:

  • Cleaner data exports

  • Faster compliance reporting
  • More precise evidence for incident investigations

Updated PDF Branding With Client & Office Information

All system-generated PDFs now automatically include:

  • Client logo

  • Client address
  • Office name
  • Office address

This ensures that every exported report is correctly branded and clearly linked to the relevant office, without requiring manual updates.

What this improves:

  • Professional, consistent presentation

  • Clearer identification of report origins
  • No need to manually insert branding details

Completed Patrols by Day – New Dashboard Chart

A new chart shows daily patrol completion across a selected week, with one bar per day. A red dashed line shows the daily patrol target (if set), allowing managers to quickly understand whether expected patrol levels are being met.

Users can select any week to review, and the graph updates dynamically based on filters.

What this improves:

  • Easy identification of quieter or busier days

  • Clear comparison against daily expectations
  • Better operational planning and guard management

Patrol Targets (Weekly and Daily)

Patrol Targets allow managers to define how many patrols should be completed either per week or per day. These targets provide a benchmark that appears visually on the dashboard charts.
