June 2026: Postroom - Data retention policies

To help support data compliance, custom data retention periods are now available

What it is

Postroom users can now configure custom data retention periods for the following fields:

  • Recipient / Addressee

  • Location / Company

 

This provides greater flexibility in managing data retention requirements and supporting compliance policies.

When to use this

Data retention polcies vary depending on your local juristiction. But, the majority of governments do stipulate retention periods as legislation (e.g. GDPR in Europe), so this should be considered by all users.
